QUICK START

Welcome to The iNSTA-Pro Analyzer!

Help is full of details on how to best use The iNSTA-Pro Analyzer; but this section will get you started now!

FIRST OF ALL, always put safety first when taking a video. Stand a safe distance from the video subject, ensuring you will not get hit by them - AND NEVER stand between the athlete and the target to video their swing!

On installation of the app The iNSTA-Pro Analyser will immediately go to the Profile page. Fill in the data - Name, Email, whether you are a Student or Coach and we will ask you to join The iNSTA-Club. Here you can archive your video clips, view full size videos on the web, join our forum (FAQ's, Feedback and Discussion), and much more.

Choose the scrub bar location - the default is for right handed golfers.

Leave the Start and Cache to the default locations for now.

In the upper-right hand corner of the screen, tap on The iNSTA-Pro (player) icon - this will take you directly to the Swings screen.

To video a swing - tap on the Video Camera icon on the bottom left of this screen.

• The video screen will pop up.
• Be sure you are at a safe distance from your subject.
• Steady your iPhone™ or iPad™, and press the red button at the beginning of the swing/motion.
• Tap the red button again when the motion is complete.
• Next, trim the clip at the top of the screen - when you are happy with your video clip, tap <Use>
• The iNSTA-Pro Analyzer will go immediately to the Analysis screen.

To View Your Analysis Video:

• On the Analysis screen, tap on the Play > button - this will play back your clip at normal speed.
• Tap on the Pause || button to stop the play back.
• To advance frame by frame, either tap repeatedly on the Frame Forward >>| or frame Reverse Button |<< ... or
• Use the scrub bar, by placing your finger on the "ball" at the top of the bar, and slide it up or down to review your clip at the speed, or frame, you desire.

To Practice On The Analysis Tools:

• Tap on one of your clips - the first time you do this, you will see "Building" appear at the bottom of the Analysis screen.
• Tap on one of the "tools" on the video - it will show an orange (locked) or blue (unlocked) "halo" around the tool.
• If locked, tap on the <Lock> icon in the upper left hand corner of the screen. When it is unlocked -
  • you can move it (slide your finger on the screen)
  • change it's color (tap one of the five colors above it)
  • or delete it (tap on the garbage can).
• To place a new tool on the video
  • Tap on one of the tools at the top of the screen - circle, line or circle with fixed line.
  • Move the tool to your desired location by dragging your finger across the screen.
  • To size the tool - place two fingers on the screen, and spread apart to zoom out, and do the opposite to zoom in.
  • To rotate the tool - move your two fingers around the screen.
