SWING FILE SORTING AND ARCHIVING TIPS

The iNSTA-Pro Analyzer has convenient built in abilities for managing your swing files, both locally on your iPhone™ (Local) and remotely (Archive) on The iNSTA-Pro server.

The Local files are accessible on the Swings screen. The Archived files can be viewed by tapping on the <Archive> icon on the Launch screen, or by tapping the <View> icon on the Swings screen and then the <Archive> icon. You can also view the Archived files on The iNSTA-Pro website with your desktop browser.

It is recommended that you leave the Archive option on the Profile screen set to Auto to ensure you can retreive your swings if you delete the local copy.

On the Swings screen all your local files are shown in thumbnail view. Note there is an “archive” icon mark associated with each view. If the archive icon is red, the file is only stored locally. If the archive icon is green, this file is local but has also been previously saved in the archive on The iNSTA-Pro server.

You can sort your files by any item listed in the settings section.

• To sort, tap the <Sort> icon at the top right.
• Choose the item you would like to sort by.

This same process can also be applied to the Archive screen.

To manually save a Local file to the Archive follow these steps.

• On the Swings screen look for the file you wish to archive.
• Check that the archive icon is red, if it is green then the file is already saved.
• Tap the icon and a message will pop up - Sync to Archive - Sync or Cancel.
• Choose Sync. An Uploading status bar will appear on the thumbnail.
• Once uploading is complete, the status bar disappears, and the archive icon turns green.

You now have this file locally and saved in your online account.

If you wish to delete it from local view:

• Slide finger across the thumbnail, it will turn yellow, a message, Remove local copy, keep in archive with a red <Delete> button, will appear.
• Press <Delete>.

You now have archived the file, and removed the local copy.

To bring a file which is archived on your online account back locally to your phone:

• Go to the Launch screen and select the <Archive> icon.
• Find the desired file from your archive list and select the thumbnail by tapping it.
• A message will pop up, Retrieve from archive with choices Cancel and Download.
• Select Download. A Downloading status bar will appear on the thumbnail. Upon completion you will be taken to the Analysis screen.

Your recently downloaded file will now be listed in the Swings screen.

To permanently delete file(s) from the archive:

• Go to the Launch screen and select the <Archive> icon.
• Sort the list to identify which file you wish to delete.
• Slide your finger on the thumbnail and it will turn a yellow color with the message Permanently delete from Archive and will display a red <Delete> button.
• Press <Delete>.

Now the file has been permanently deleted from the Archive.
